In our little apartment we have like a built in loft bed. This is great, it gives more space and privacy on such few square meters. To separate it even more I sewed a curtain to put up in front of the bed area. Let me show you!
First comes the fabric ;) I found this cute fabric in one of my favourite colours: coral/peach!

3 meters for 15 euros, not bad, not bad... |
|
I bought it in a shop in Montmartre where there's a whole district with lots of wounderful textile shops. And shops with sewing tools and gadgets. Simply wounderful to stroll around there, in and out of big textile shops. Maybe I shall show you in a blog post some day?

My brother, ready to work |

Important with some nice tunes as well | | | |
|
Then it was just to measure and cut and pin and pin... and sew and pin and sew...
I give you a classic before and after shot so that you can see for yourself!
 |
Before: you can see the unmade bed ;) |
 |
After: nicely hidden behind white little dots |
|

To make the curtain pole I used a bit of wash line a scissor and two tiny spikes. |
The sewing tip of today, voila!
Bisou!
